Hi, I'm Kim and I'm so glad you're here.  Let me tell you a little about myself.  I am an Herbalist and the Owner of Enchanted Botanicals and the dba Botanical Living with Kim.  I am a proud native of Arizona and have been working with plants for my entire life.  I began my love of plants and learning to grow them in AZ soil as a small child, and my life's work has evolved from having simple gardens to designing & installing edible landscapes, lecturing on Urban Farming, Organic Gardening & Survival, maintaining gardens at a large estate, and now teaching others about Herbal Medicine, Gardening, Cooking and overall lifestyle guidance.

After 2020, I decided I was ready for my career path to go in another new direction and work my own brand exclusively.  I opened an online Etsy Shoppe to showcase many of my Botanical products as well as have a place to sell my Magickal items too.  I also began recording and offering online courses for those eager to learn.  Once 2022 arrived, I made even more career changes, and decided to work my business full time, and bring everything together in one place online (enter creation of this website).

 

I am an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional, a Community Herbalist, and a Certified Holistic Wellness Coach.  I feel it is essential to continue learning, and I regularly attend Botanical Medicine Conferences, seminars, and read everything I can get my hands on so I stay up to date on the current Eastern and Western Medicine practices.

At the beginning of 2024 I decided I needed to bring more focus to Gardening in Arizona.  While I've always maintained gardens in my own yard, I haven't shared as much with others on this topic in the last few years and now we need homegrown foods more than ever.  So here we are in 2025 and I am devoting a large portion of my energies and business model to educating others on the wonders of backyard gardening in Az!  I offer Kitchen Garden Consultations, give in-person lectures, and spend a great deal of time creating online content.  You can find me on multiple social media platforms, and each one offers a slightly different perspective.

I am happily married and share a home with my husband and our cat.  I have 2 amazing biological (adult) children, 2 step (adult) children, and a grandson.  I love to travel, spend time in nature, work in my gardens, study other cultures, cook delicious homemade meals, and focus on living my life to the fullest.  My goal for 2025 is to take life a little slower and ride the ups and downs.  Time to enjoy!
