Intro to Herbal Medicine with Kim Montoya

This 2 hours workshop offers "What is Herbal Medicine".

The History of Herbal Medicine, Eastern vs Western Medicine Philosophies, Legalities and Certifications, Herbal Terminology & Definitions, Overview of Herbs (Fresh/dried, growing, harvesting ethics, storage), Herbal Preparation Methods, Selected Herb for in-depth discussion.

Each student will go home with extensive notes, as well as a sample of an Herbal product and some of proprietary recipes for Herbal Remedies.

Herbal teas and light refreshments will be served and participants recommend to bring along a notebook and writing utensil for additional note taking Open to Men or Women, age 16 and older.
